The doors of the Strauss Theatre Center substitute for the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis' classic tale "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" this weekend as the Youngstage troupe takes theatergoers on a magical journey to the land of Narnia. For director Cathy Airhart Webb, it's a production that's been a long time coming, but the wait was worth it.

In previous columns, I have offered what I believe to be sound advice to those individuals who have dreams of entering the performing arts profession. I recently had the opportunity to savor the talents of a group of theatre lovers about whom I had not written, but certainly should have - the singers, dancers, buskers, jugglers, illusionists, and comics who nightly entertain on the myriad cruise ships that ply our waters.
